About Karen…

My name is Karen Ciandella and I have a special understanding of the trauma of adoption and separation.  I am mother to five children.  My twin sons were lost to me through adoption in 1973.  I  gave birth to another son and a daughter and in 1992 I became an adoptive mother to my youngest son.

I am a  Spiritual Life Coach specializing in adoption  and I am devoted to healing the hearts of mothers who lost children to adoption. 

My passion is working, coaching, growing and healing with  First (Birth) Mothers and Reunion Coaching. I see Reunions as opportunities for healing and personal growth. I believe that by educating ourselves, doing our own inner work (especially in loss, grief and forgiveness) and re-integrating the parts of ourselves we “gave up” along with the child we lost is a necessary part of self discovery as we journey on the path of Reunion, recovery and healing.
